2. DEFINITION OF DATA ELEMENT:

Name of the database and registration number of the Clinical Trial and/or Randomized Controlled Trial that identifies it internationally.

3. NOTES:

a) Filling in this field is mandatory if the Publication Type – field [71] – is any of the Clinical Trial types in DeCS/MeSH, according to the LILACS Indexing Manual.

b) Select the database name from the list where the document was registered and enter its number. See the list in Annex X.

c) The database name must be included in the list of names available for this field. If it is not available, the LILACS Cooperating Center should contact BIREME. In a future update of the auxiliary database of this field, the database name will be available in the list.

d) If the document has the URL of the clinical trial registration, include it in the URL attribute.
