2. DATA ELEMENT DEFINITION:
Name of the institution responsible for the intellectual content of a document.
3. NOTES:
a) If there are more than one responsible institution, their names should be recorded in the sequence given in the document, click on Add. Institutional author;
b) Filling in one of the data fields, Personal author or Institutional author, is mandatory;
c) Record the name of the institution, initially, in the same form as it appears in the document, adding, when necessary, the name of the hierarchically superior institution. Some basic rules for filling in the institutional author based on AACR2 can be found in ANNEX II.
Degree of responsibility
a) Indicate the degree of responsibility when it is not that of author;
b) Only one degree of responsibility is recorded for each author;
c) Select the degree of responsibility in the attribute r:, using one of the following options:
