3 – General notes for completing data fields

 

1. When a data field is repetitive, the characteristics of the field apply to each occurrence, which      should be transcribed one after the other, separated with the “enter” key.

  1. The set of permitted characters is as follows:
  • All letters of the Spanish, Portuguese, English, and French languages (uppercase and lowercase)
  • All numbers
  • The following symbols: % : , ; / ! – ? @ $ & * # ( ) ¿ ¡ + = ‘ ” [ ]
  1. Under no circumstances should a period be entered to indicate the end of a data element. This rule applies even when the element is an abbreviation.
  2. For electronic documents, do not directly paste text into the data field. Use a notepad or similar tool to avoid hidden characters or formatting.
  3. Adhere to the grammatical norms of the language when filling out the fields. Maintain capitalization only at the beginning of paragraphs, for proper nouns, and acronyms.
  4. For document access links, copy the URL to avoid typing errors.
