LILACS’ 35 years of collaborative work supporting health in Latin America and the Caribbean: solidarity is about sharing

LILACS celebrates 35 years improving the visibility and access to Latin America and the Caribbean’s scientific output.

LILACS is maintained and updated by a network of educational, governmental, and health research institutions coordinated by BIREME/PAHO/WHO.

The database includes 898 scientific journals from 21 countries in the Region.

To celebrate LILACS 35th Anniversary, PAHO/WHO through BIREME is holding a virtual event with the slogan “Solidarity is about sharing”. It will address the ways LILACS has been supporting the countries to provide visibility to their health scientific and technical output.
