The LILACS database accepts documents in the field of Health Sciences and related areas if they include discussions on human health and are published by institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean. The types of documents accepted are books and chapters, doctoral or higher degree theses, master’s dissertations in the fields of Public Health and Nursing, gray literature, unconventional literature, and journal articles evaluated and selected by LILACS’ national and thematic Evaluation Committees.
