This data visualization represents the historical perspective (2021-2024) of the "Profile of Journals Indexed in LILACS," a longitudinal and prospective study initiated in October 2021, with annual data collection.

The data is organized into the following focus areas:

  • Characterization: Dataset representing the characteristics of journals by thematic area, bibliographic standards, article types, organizational nature, and team composition.
  • Digital Support: Dataset characterizing digital support, publication periodicity, electronic management systems, year of publication initiation, transition to digital support, and indexing in the LILACS database.
  • Language and Dissemination: Dataset detailing dissemination channels, social networks, accepted languages, and languages translated by the journal.
  • Open Science: Dataset describing the policies and practices adopted in Open Science.
  • Ecosystem: Dataset covering the databases and index portals where journals are indexed.
  • Sustainability: Dataset on resources available for the financial and structural sustainability of journals.

Each year of the ongoing study provides data on participating journals, acronyms used, the questionnaire adopted, and stored research data. For access, see the following links:
