3. Evaluation of permanence of titles of the collection

LILACS journals are reevaluated annually in their formal requirements and access to the full text and the editors of indexed journals that no longer comply with LILACS criteria will receive a report of improvement recommendations with a deadline for their implementation. Once aware of the deadline, notified journals will be excluded if they do not comply with the recommendations.

For readmission, the journal must be submitted again to the evaluation process, when the equivalent of three consecutive issues or 75% of the annual target of articles, in the case of continuous publication, should be presented. Readmission will not be accepted immediately after a journal is removed from LILACS.

Journals that are more than one year overdue in contributing to LILACS (sending metadata via the publisher and/or Cooperating Center) will be excluded from the collection.
