2.3 Peer review

The review and approval of contributions to scientific journals should be carried out by academically recognized peers in the area. The journal must formally specify what is the modality of evaluation (single-blind, double-blind, or open) and the review procedure followed for the approval of articles. It is recommended that the evaluation be made with the use of an automated system and guidelines to orient the reviewers.

► The dates of receipt, approval, and publication must be indicated in all articles and the list of reviewers published once a year, with the inclusion of their full institutional affiliation (institution, city, state, and country). It is also recommended to mention in each approved article the name of the editor responsible for conducting the evaluation process.
