4. Commitment of editors

The editors of journals indexed in LILACS are committed to:

  • Maintaining the journal according to LILACS criteria;
  • Joining LILACS-Express and providing metadata, links to the full texts of the articles and, if available, research data published in LILACS;
  • Designating a librarian or Cooperating Center to perform thematic indexing;
  • Informing the person responsible for thematic indexing about the availability of new articles;
  • Sending printed issues (if any) to the Cooperating Center, if requested.
