The new criteria for selection and permanence of LILACS journals in were validated through public consultation in September 2020. There were 130 comments from 20 users!
The updated criteria will be published at the end of October, as one of the actions to mark LILACS’ 35 years. It is scheduled to be updated, on average every two years or as needed.
The criteria currently in force date from 2010 (Latin America and the Caribbean) and 2017 (Brazil). In November 2019, a public consultation was held on the new criteria, and numerous contributions were received. After the contributions had been compiled and the criteria had been revised, the new version was drafted, validated through public consultation and is available at https://lilacs.bvsalud.org/es/revistas-lilacs/lilacs-criterios-de-seleccion-y-permanencia-de-revistas-2020/ (version in Spanish).
